Owner and founder, Tony Lunsford graduated from UMBC where he received his degree in Visual Arts. While there he honed his skills as a filmmaker and composer, writing and producing commercials for a number of local business including the Baltimore Zoo. After college he partnered with Abstract Studios just when the video industry began to gain momentum. His expertise helped elevate the wedding video to a new level. He was recognized by the Washington Post and featured in a segment on Nightline for his accomplishments. Having filmed over 1300 weddings, he is considered one of the most experienced videographers around. James has also done extensive work in TV, working as a cameraman at BET, CNN News Source and FOX News.

My mission is to create the most visually and aesthetically pleasing video and film projects possible. I have gained invaluable experience in my 35 years as a video producer. I plan to use that experience and knowledge to continue building my portfolio. The satisfaction of my clients is my number one priority. My Vision for Capture One Video is build it into one of the most successful video production companies possible. I will accomplish this thru hard work and dedication to my business and craft and by consistently providing my clients with good service. In 1985 when wedding videos were not even on the brides checklist, I shot 100 hundred weddings at no cost to the bride. If she liked it she could buy it. I sold fifty, the rest is history. From there we went on to videotape over 200 paid videos a year, propelling Abstract Studios to one of the premier wedding video campaniles in the DMV.
